La Caille

I took my wife here for a short overnight getaway. We stayed in the cabin and had breakfast in the restaurant the next morning. It’s a pricey venue, but you will soon forget about that the moment you begin to take in the ambience of the place, the excellent service, and food choices. If you book the cabin, give yourself plenty of advance time, as it’s a popular choice.

All right so if you thinking about going here throw out any notion of money. This place is probably one of the most expensive places in the valley. However it is entirely worth it, dining here will make you feel like you are royalty. I have to say I have never had fancy French food delivered to me on a nice spring day with live peacocks walking around. They also have fun events here, the one that I went to was a Bastille day celebration with a seven course meal and each course was paired with its own wine. The presentation of the dishes here are great they do a lot of table side preparation like cutting your steak for you, or lighting your desserts on fire. walking around the place while you're waiting to be seated is very romantic. I've been here with my now wife multiple times and never been disappointed. So I would highly recommend going if you have the extra dollars laying around, just don't forget to rub the walrus tusk on the way out. It's good luck.

Absolutely one of best dining experiences I have had this year. If you live in SLC area GO! If you are visiting, GO. You wont be disappointed.

As we write this review, we are literally in tears…the good kind! The venue and folks at La Caille were truly BEYOND amazing from start to finish in our wedding planning and ensuring everything went smooth and without issue! Madeline Anderton handled each and every detail in ensuring that everything was documented, thought out, and clearly explained from the get-go. There wasn’t ONE surprise (except the fact that things went more amazing than we could have dreamed of!) Madison and Mark waited on us hand and foot the entire evening, making sure we needed nothing! We truly cannot thank each of them enough for their kindness, attention to detail and true heart-felt devotion to make sure we both felt like royalty throughout the entire process. This was a night/weekend we will NEVER forget! If you can do your wedding at La Caille, DO IT! It is WELL worth the time and money! We have made forever friends through the process! Thank you Madeline, Madison and Mark, forever in our hearts!

Awesome environment. The grounds were beautiful. Charcuterie board was so so so good. Great local honey. 7 courses and 3 hours of amazing food.

I dined here recently as part of a wedding anniversary event. Bowled over. I absolutely was in heaven the entire time. La Caille is a beautiful restaurant in every way. The food was rich and spectacular, the service sublime.

Always great - the charcuterie board was excellent, as was the filet. Escargot was great - much better than I've found elsewhere.

Delicious dinner, on a beautiful property! Even driving up was an experience, just like a french country estate. Friendly staff and prompt service.

This was such a fun fancy restaurant to experience. My wife and I had our anniversary a while back and decided to give La Caille a visit. The outdoor table after dark was very romantic and pretty. They served some delicious food and dessert. It was a very unique experience for the both of us, their atmosphere definitely tied everything together nicely!

“Fine” for vegetarians. Not horrible, but not great. Wine is made in Utah and is also decent. We just don’t have the climate for great wine. The location is gorgeous though. That’s the best part about this place. Also, the mushroom appetizer was incredible. I’ve never had mushrooms like that. I would suggest going on a warm day, sitting outside and enjoy some small plates and drinks.

The food is amazing. The grounds are beautiful. If you order the bananas foster as a dessert it comes with a free fire show from your wait staff

Super nice restaurant. Probably top 3 places in Utah to eat. Had a great dinner. And told them it was our anniversary so they brought us out a great desert and plate with happy anniversary on it. 100% recommend this place.

The best french restaurant that I know of. The grounds are beautiful, definitely gives me french vibes. And the cuisine is absolutely divine. I came here on a school trip 2 years in a row and they did not disappoint. Though is might be a little expensive, its definitely worth it.

One of Utah's best kept secrets. The food was amazing! The grounds were spectacular and breathtaking. It felt like a little slice of heaven away from the hustle of the city but not to far away from home. I can't say enough about the quality of food here the meals came out perfectly to order and was almost as beautiful as our waitress Madison. I found my new favorite place!

Very cool place to eat. The grounds are incredible! We attended the annual Thanksgiving event hosted by the restaurant and weren't disappointed. It's definitely worth a try!

Beautifully decorated and well kept place. The staff was very kind and attentive. The food was incredible and each course felt like a suprise. The property is magical and a truly hidden garden. My only annoyance is that the manager would not stop selling the place and telling me to bring my "girlfriends" during our meal and it was so uncomfortable. I just want to eat my food in peace instead of being sold on future dinners. All in all it was fun to watch the snobby miserable regulars that don't have anything to talk about with each other and see the couples that actually enjoyed each other's company. Good food and fascinating social experiment.

My husband and I eat here often and love it. We also just held our wedding here. It was amazing!!! What a beautiful venue! However the people are what makes this such an extra special place. This is a place to go for the atmosphere and experience. Prices are high, and the food is above average. Try the escargot.

Beautiful venue. Great for events. Can handle large parties. Elegant dining. Good service. Food is good but not up to expectations based on prices.

From the moment you arrive in that place the personel give you an agreeable feeling. Very friendly team, it is a good restaurant to enjoy with buddies or with your date. enjoyable cuisine, creative chief cook and stuff, decent pay and attentive service. Highly recommended.

A 23 acre restaurant lot, with their own vineyard and French house. So beautiful.Super friendly staff, wonderful food. It doesn’t get more French than this anywhere else.

Outstanding food. Amazing duck. Everything cooked and tasted excellent except the asparagus which was a surprising $18. The service was comically bad for fine dining. Very uncoordinated: delivered food not all together, food and drinks not to the right person, served the intermezzo with the main. Didn't know anything about the wine: no sommelier, bartender knew very little and recommended wine they didn't have. Beware of overpriced market price vegetables. Very nice sized portions. $25 corking fee very reasonable, should bring your own wine.

Just go! Such an experience. Food is incredible. Service is wonderful, atmosphere is dreamy, and the scenery on the grounds is so unique. You won’t regret it!

We love hanging out. Yesterday we went to this fine place which friends told us about. We had a beautiful time there with delicious meal and a well-trained stuff and a great cook. We put this place in our list and we shall definitely come back soon. We highly recommend.

This is fine dining at its best. We attended a wedding here and it was catered by the restaurant. The waiters attended to our every need. The food was absolutely the best.

Very nice ambience and great French cuisine. The rack of lamb I had was grilled to perfection. It was a treat to watch the Irish Coffee being prepared at my table.

My husband and I new it was a fancy restaurant, be us Idahoans had no idea what we were getting into. It was such a fun experience! We were served with top of the line service and most of the foods we were surprised how Fantastic they tasted. I wish I took more pictures of our food. My husband got a filet and it was so tender, almost like bread. It is very very pricey, but if our wallet was prepared we’d go again for the experience, amazing antiqued French decor, and food. Oh an their cream style sodas are so good too. Such a great place for a foodie, because there are lots of great flavors and textures.
